Office Vitea, Sustainable offices for healthy workers

The challenge

Office buildings require large amounts of energy for lighting and climate control. Current climate control systems tend to be inefficient. Installations to make the building more energy efficient tend to be costly.

The solution

EIT Climate-KIC’s start-up Office Vitea is dedicated to optimizing the climate control in office spaces. The result is a healthy working environment at reduced energy costs. Office Vitea combines smart sensors measuring the indoor climate with office workers’ personal preferences. The subsequent date analyses allow Office Vitea to efficiently rearrange working spaces and give everyone their most comfortable place.

Together with carefully selected partners – including experts in building management systems, office furniture, facility management and vitality coaching – Office Vitae makes offices more energy efficient and sustainable, while also creating healthy work spaces.

The impact

By making more efficient use of available space, Office Vitae allows office buildings to save up to 20% on energy.

EIT Climate-KIC’s role

Office Vitea participated in EIT Climate-KIC’s Accelerator programme, ensuring financial support as well as coaching on entrepreneurship and business growth.
